Personally, I would run from the car, salvage title and it looks to be beaten up quite a bit. Pass, or we will hear from you in 1 month stating the car doesn't run/overheats/ belts broke/DME issues.
You can barely buy a used 2000 civic with 150,000 miles on it for $600, remember one thing, there is no such thing as a cheap porsche. If you decide to purchase it, just remember that the cost of bodywork, belts, water pump, and all of the other gotcha's the car going to have will far outweight the retail value of it......run away from this 944 with a ------->>>>>>>SALVAGE TITLE<<<<<<<<----------------.
Plenty of nicer 944's out there, just save and get a nice one if you really want a 944 as a first car.
