If I'm not mistaken M490 refers actually loudspeaker set-up in doors. And there could be possibly a switch in console to adjust front/rear balance as well to go with M490, but I'm not sure about that. Do you have one?
Most likely car was delivered without radio. The head unit what you received was installed by dealer or someone after the car was delivered from factory.
