This article is a fantastic read and has me going back to reread it multiple times. It's even sparked some interest in the 924 in me even though I've already got a 944.
I'm curious, was the 944 built in the same way the 924 was?? With hand-welded sheet metal and assembly of engines and gearboxes and bodies, and hand-sewn upholstery?
