There is a metal bracket behind the horn pad which flattens (for lack of better term) and weakens over time. So when you have a G load on it from braking or hard turn it will trigger the horn. You can access it by taking out the two or so bolts from the back side of the wheel. I don't remember where I bought my part but they are out there.

I do remember that there is a year or VIN breakdown and the parts are slightly different. So make sure you have all relevant info when ordering part.

Pretty easy re-install. I would either unplug airbag or disconnect battery. Your choice.
