You fiddled with it for 2 days. By the time you research all the questions you have asked, you are either going to drive the price up or you're going to lose it to a bidding war..
It's a 73, so it's MFI. Lots of MFI was replaced in the era with Webers but if it's MFI it could also be an E or S engine.
What difference does the color make and why would you expect original paint on a 44 year old car? You either buy it or pass on it as you'll be Sorting the problems later and spending to match what you already spent.
