2 things I don't like: Can't stand in it, have to go outside to cook. One BIG reason to get a camper is to get out of the weather, including the ability to cook for yourself. And having no way to step into it, just straigth to bed is just too much like a tent, IMHO.
Personally, I don't need a toilet when camping. Either there is facilities or when in BFE, the world is your bathroom. Nothing is more gross than putting a deuce into a porta-potty in a confined space.
I have a slide in truck popup camper. Like this. Of course you need a truck. But it checks all the boxes for me, including the ability to 4x4 into the back country and also go down the freeway at full speed (CA has 55 mph speed limit for trailering).
