I think these are good trucks. Definitely capable in bad weather. I would not buy one for personal use due to poor mileage / sluggish performance in eco mode / crammed and pedestrian (plasticy) interiors. But for your use, they will be awesome and will make people feel good in terms of prestige - they don't look like your average work vehicle, rather than a decent family SUV.
