Hi everyone,
I am coming to the point where i am considering putting my 1972 911E on the market. Car has been family owned for over 20 years. Last year i had the engine totally gone over and resealed. Car is a Sunday driver and is just hitting 39,000 miles. Has rare options like Air conditioning and Rose Red Color code. Whale tail was added before i owned it.. it's kind of grown on me.
Pro's - Interior 8/10. No rips/tears anywhere.
Engine running strong and clean. Compression results were great, test done in August.
Body 9/10 1 very small rust bubble in door jam otherwise body is gorgeous.
Paint 7/10 small bubble on rear engine lid, scratches in clearcoat.
Trim 7/10 some small pitting .
Cons - Sportomatic transmission has an interior problem and has never gone into park as long as i have owned it. Slight buzz when shift into 2nd. Local dealership will not service the transmission.Still, car has been regularly driven for 20 years + with these issues.
Very first appearance of a small rust bubble in one door jam but otherwise car is completely rust free and has been stored appropriately.

Estimates seem to wildly vary and these vehicles continue to appreciate.
I love this car, but owning it is both a blessing and a curse 8)
Any opinions would be appreciated.
