High mileage...
That high mile 996 TT is great. I read a similar tale of a gent in the U.K. with silly high mileage on a 996 GT3 (300k + I think).
Do the turbos last in these things - at least 100k miles?
I don't like the Boxster/GT-1/scrambled egg headlights either. I understand that some people like them I guess, but I'm not one of them. I think the headlights can be addressed in a somewhat passable fix though to emulate a 997.
IMO, the performance and reliability of the 996 TT should "overcome" the odd headlight selection by the factory...
