Engine number is 6340876
There were a couple of things missing when I got the engine. The alternator, fan and a few parts of the CIS were gone. Don't know enough to know exactly, but I know something is missing from the top of the engine that is part of CIS. I do have the correct distributor for it.

As it sits, maybe $2k - if that. If you look in the for sale section a really nice 2.7 with respectable leakdown numbers that was complete and rebuilt went for $4K last week.
The '74 S/Carrera engine is not a special engine, just like the '75 S/Carrera 2.7 engine as they are USA models with CIS and this was the only engine available in '75 anyway. It would only be special if someone was looking for that number.
It's missing the fan which is expensive ($800 at least) and the CIS is gone. A clean, working rebuilt CIS is worth probably double what it was at $1500, as a core not much maybe $300 but yours is not complete.
Honestly I think you may be able to get +/- $1500 for it. I don't think it's worth much more as there has been better complete offerings going for twice this as of late.
