I'm sure you are far less foolish than I am but I thought I'd share something that I did to my 81 SC that resulted in a "no heat" condition...
I had replaced the blower motor. The new motor had a different electrical end so I cut it off and put connectors on to fit my wiring harness. Didn't mark the wires and figured my odds were 50/50 that it would work. It worked so I left it. Months later when winter came, I found I had no heat. Drove it all winter like that then decided to troubleshoot it. Found that I had crossed the two wires on the blower motor. It will turn on EITHER way, but only one direction will PUSH air...
DOH!
