All new hoses in engine compartment; new engine blower motor; new electrical switch on heater levers. Blower motor runs great, but nothing coming into the cabin. Any ideas?

thanks

Have you checked under the car to see if the flapper boxes are working (closing)?

As the a ove poster said, check you flapper valve under the car. Cables can come loose Nd they will not divert the hot air.

heatless

I replaced the flapper boxes, cables, hoses etc., but I guess checking them would be the next logical step. thanks

I read a post by fellow Pelican once that said when he blew pressurized air from the car vent toward the heat exchanger that rodent nest material came out. It solved his problem, which was similar.

Maybe it will help?

I'm sure you are far less foolish than I am but I thought I'd share something that I did to my 81 SC that resulted in a "no heat" condition...

I had replaced the blower motor. The new motor had a different electrical end so I cut it off and put connectors on to fit my wiring harness. Didn't mark the wires and figured my odds were 50/50 that it would work. It worked so I left it. Months later when winter came, I found I had no heat. Drove it all winter like that then decided to troubleshoot it. Found that I had crossed the two wires on the blower motor. It will turn on EITHER way, but only one direction will PUSH air...

DOH!

What Angela says. If wires are reversed will blow in reverse. Also check hoses into flapper box they can become loose and detach.
