electric kitchen range burner question
Yesterday my wife noticed that the main large burner on our kitchen range didn't seem to be working correctly. What she noticed is when the temp setting was set on low that the burner was very hot. Does this sound like the burner going bad or the temp control ? Can I take one of the other burners even though they are different size and plug into where the bad burner is to see if it is the burner that is bad ? I'm trying to figure out how to trouble shoot the issue.
