I agree on the looks of 19" wheels. Have a set of 19,s as well as the factory wheels for my 2002 C4S. The rear tires on the 19's are 315's. I had them on the car when I purchased it 4 years ago (along with PSS9's) and recently put the factory "turbo" wheels with a new set of tires back on the car.

While the factory 18 inchers may not quite have the flash of the 19's, I really do prefer the feel of the 18's for day to day street driving. That and the kids in the suped up Hondas don't seem to pay as much attention and want to race every time I go for a drive. I guess the older I get the more I respect and prefer the way the factory set up the car.
