Lower W/ 19" Wheels

Has anyone had the experience [or know anything about] lowering a 2002 C4 using H&R springs with 19" wheels?
The H&R springs are said to lower the front and rear 1".
The wheels are 'Lobster Claw' wheels from a 997 S.
The tires are 235/35/19 [front] and 295/30/19.
If this is going to cause problems, I plan to put 18" [stock sized] wheels on the car.
Thanks!

So, how does your C4S ride with 19" wheels? I am considering putting 19" wheels on my 2002 C4S and I am looking for feedback.

I have 19's with Michelin Pilot Sports... The height doesn't change much, the wheels are taller, but the tires are narrow. You can find wheel and tire sites that will show you the different tire and wheel combination diameters. I think Tire Rack has a good one, you just plug wheel diameter and tire size and it will give you an overall height.

It's hard to be exact about the ride, etc., but overall I would lean to the ride is a little harsher, and the Michelin's are noisy. I thought they would be quieter, it's all a compromise...

However I do like the looks of the 19's...

I agree on the looks of 19" wheels. Have a set of 19,s as well as the factory wheels for my 2002 C4S. The rear tires on the 19's are 315's. I had them on the car when I purchased it 4 years ago (along with PSS9's) and recently put the factory "turbo" wheels with a new set of tires back on the car.

While the factory 18 inchers may not quite have the flash of the 19's, I really do prefer the feel of the 18's for day to day street driving. That and the kids in the suped up Hondas don't seem to pay as much attention and want to race every time I go for a drive. I guess the older I get the more I respect and prefer the way the factory set up the car.

Should fit just fine. You would normally only have clearance issues with the fender liners when moving to wider wheels/tires or changing the front caster settings on the alignment.
