Since moving into suburbia, my wife and I carpool together a few days a week and take public transportation the rest of the time. Today we carpooled and she picked me up by my office during a heavy downpour. The water was 5-6inches deep and running fast when I stepped off the sidewalk and came around to get into the drivers seat. Driving home with completely soaked feet is not priceless. If I wasn't such a controlling tool and just let her drive, I could've kept my feet relatively dry.
I also want to give a shoutout to the two nazis that decided to go side-by-side down the freeway at 45 mph. You are so thoughtful to decide how fast everyone else should drive today. Will you come over to tell when I should go to bed tonight, too? I really don't know to live without your guidance. Also, bonus points for speeding up to try to prevent me from going around you when a third lane was added. Strong work.
