I've had people ask we why I post photos and descriptions of mistakes, not just the "everything is perfect" photos?
Because I think anyone wanting to take on a complex vehicle project should go in with his eyes open and have realistic expectations. It's never like the 1-hour show on TV. *Nothing* ever goes 100% as planned, especially when there's many small specialist companies involved. All it takes is one delayed part, one mis-communication, one human error, and you get a domino effect of problems that delay completion.
But patience and persistence (stubbornness?) gets you through, and the end result is worth it.
