I'm not familiar with the Dansk muffler. I've got the Bursch "Quiet Street" on my 2.0 and I think it is quite loud. I should note though that I have carbs, and when they are really well balanced the car is not nearly as load, and has a fairly deep tone which may be what you are looking for (but when balance is bad it is "amplified" and sounds like a Harley-Davidson). FI might be more successfull in producing a nice tone.
