915 Transmission lever shaft bushings
There is some play in my transmission lever shaft. I see on the Host's web page that the bushings are not available, or so it seems...
Transmission is a 915 in an '86 930. Item 19 is plastic(?) and items 18 are brass I assume. 1. How much shaft play is acceptable? 2. I can fabricate but need to know the bushing specs in terms of material and dimensions? 3. What are the part numbers? 4. Any advice or experience please. Thanks, Norm ![]()

I am guessing but #18 may be propriety bush material - not brass. #19 may be similar. Judging from the pic I am thinking similar to strut bushes (internal).
If you get the dimensions you can probably source as such. I sourced my strut bushes that way - from a bush catalogue. If you measure the shaft dimensions and the housing dimensions you will have your bush sizings. Alan
