Thanks guys for all the kind words. The seats are Cerullo www.cerullo.com I sent them a small sample of the color and they matched it very well. I did have a K27 Turbo upgrade with bigger intercooler but decided not to install it. Sold it to a member of the forum.
The shark fins as you guys call it were removed and replaced with clear 964 ones. The wheels are made by RH which I got from GMP Performance. Their is a small spot where the old mirrors use to be but you got to look pretty hard for it. I got lucky and found them on ebay. Here's a picture of the clear shark fin installed.

Umm... what is a shark fin? Wait, before you answer that... will I have to turn in my 930 badge for asking that question?

I always thought the shark fins were for aesthetics, good to finally know they server a purpose!
Do the quarter panels get dinged up a lot without them? |

Not really dinged, but they can pick up a lot of stone chips considering that the 930 uses a wide front tire, and the of course the rear fender/flare extends out enough to catch the debri.

Very nice Bernard! You've got to show that beast now. I saw it last year at a local gathering (pre bumpers) and its as nice in person. When I wear out my seats, I am going to do those Cerullos but I have basic black.....

What is that half circle above the rubber on the front lower part of the quarter panels?

You have to remove that disc to get out the torsion bars.

Great Job
Bernard,
The car looks great. And, I have been very happy with the K27and IC that I bought from you. Go have some fun! Bryan PS. Can you remind us where you purchased the front and rear bumpers from again? |

So... if I was hoping to 'clock' my rear bars to lower it soon... I'd have to remove my shark fins to do it? Really? What, then have to buy / adhere new ones??? Please set me straight here, I was hoping to tackle this in the coming week as the rear looks like it got booted in the arse since I dialed the fronts down a coupla weeks back and it's been bugging me. Oy. I hope I am misunderstanding you. ps. oh, and, I too had notaclue WTF "shark fins" were either - until someone spelled it out, then I was like DUH!!! It's pretty obvious, d'oh. pps. OH! BTW Bernard - your car looks sicsicSIC now. Well, it did before as well. Really dig that color combo, it's quite unique. And your final iteration is stunning. I was also thinking what someone else said about fixing the smile, it seems crunched up somewhat - but I could be wrong. Otherwise - very well done, enjoy! Boy that is what beautiful car. The 964 bumpers transforms the car, and really drastically improves the aesthetics. Very beautifully and tastefully done. The wheels and the seats are true icing on the cake...
Congrats on a fantastic production and tranformation. Yasin

Yikes, well spotted, yep, looks like you would need to cut them to get the disc off. I guess if you make a good job of cutting out a neat circle and you could live with it you would be fine. Luckily neither of my cars have the fins!

My 930 has air vents in it (I wonder if there is a ghetto slang name for them too) so I never had to deal with "shark fins"... aka stone protectors. I took the clear ones off my 944 15 years ago. Although, IIRC, the stone guard is cut well above the torsion bar access???
