LOL, so true.
At least I have a few different offers for the engine, tranny and remaining roller and one offer for the whole package so its good to know the interest is there. Tons of people looking for little parts and pieces if I was willing to break things down futher as well but I'm hoping I won't need to resort to that since my time is limited. This weekend I'm gonna start a thread on the parts for sale forum and let people start posting their offers so I can get some pseudo bidding started on everything before the hammer falls. My great thanks to everyone here for your input and wisdom. Reminds me why this was my favorite porsche board back in the day when I was an active porsche nut. ![]() Tony |

LOL, I'm glad to say that it appears that CaptainCalf is in the lead for taking the entire project off my hands.
A few people who are in need of just an engine and/or tranny will be greatly disappointed though.

Sorry for your situation but being a purist, I don't like to hear a car get parted out.
Just me. |

I'm with you on that one Tippy.
As much as my main concern is getting a fair price for everything, I much rather see it all go to one person who can put it all back together instead of seeing my baby become the automotive equivalent of an organ donor. Would be nice to see it go to someone local so I can see when its complete again as well. |

I would be interested in everything but the engine. I have a good engine out of 86 930 that I could put in. I am about as far away as I could be with out traveling overseas though.
If you do end up have the transmission, clutch etc left I am looking. Thanks |

Well all, I'm glad to say I think I've found a good home for my project.
But just to be sure that I'm not giving it all away for too little, if you want to put your bid in on any parts and pieces I've started a seperate thread on the parts forum where you can say what your interested in and how much. Who knows, if the offers add up enough to be tempting, I may end up breaking everything down and parting her out. For that reason if you are interested in something, try to get your two cents in while you can. I'm planning on making up my mind on what offers to take in the next couple of weeks. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-used-parts-sale-wanted/595542-thinking-about-parting-out-selling-my-930-a.html |
