I'd like to share my info with those interested. I've been messing with efi 930's since 94. Most of my testing has been at the 1/4 mile.

jrod, thanks for letting me be a part of this thread. the car as stated a few replies back is a 78 930 with a modified ls7 motor with KEP clutch components and stock four speed gearing with lsd transaxle. the car weighs slightly less than 2400 pounds and has 17 inch wheels. seems the ls7 power is more linear and keeps developing power up close to 7000 rpm. the dyno chart is engine dyno..thanks for any comments... maxwedge528

it is just a street driven car. at least at this time. primarily interested in how you would access the car in the quarter mile especially with the stock gearing. do you go through the top end in your first, second, and third gears? etc...

jrod, these 4 speeds are a ***** to launch but I have cut a 1.77 60' with it. The clutch was screaming for mercy but it lived. KEP PP and kevlar disc

Yea, it's just so hard on them, it might hold up for a few passes but not for too long
The sintered iron material holds up pretty well though. 1.77 is very good with that 4 speed What was your et and mph on that run?JRod |

That's a good pass, are you running more boost to pick up the mph?

I'm running a different turbo than the 119mph pass and right around the same boost 18-19psi

Well, the change worked out for you then. What turbo were you using before? I see you use the MS2 system. I've never used or tuned with one, they seem to work well?

yeah, i went from a K27 to my bullseye S262 originally. I ended up sending the S262 back for an upgrade and had a little T3/T4 60mm turbo laying around so we stuck it on the car. spool up was instant but back pressure was thru the roof. The 11.7 was with the little 60mm, i since put the S262 back on and have only been back to the track once since then. I need to get back out before the hot weather shows back up.

Good info on those turbo's. Checking the back pressure is very helpful, i need to do more of that myself.
