Don't these guys know? It's a lot less fun to joyride in a stolen car with slushbox....

All these young whipper-snappers never learned how to drive a stick in Drivers Ed. People don't "do sticks" much these days...unless they're special people like we are.
However, I did just recently buy a new 4x4 and I had to look long and hard to find one with the mandatory stick. I believe I've owned only two slush-boxes in my life; one, a fine example of American crafstmanship called a Maveric, and the other a road cancer victim called a Jaguar.

The most recent addition to the fleet is a 2003 F-150 which lives at our weekend home in the country. I was originally looking at slushbox pickups, but the Mrs. asked "why not stick?" I didn't have a good answer. I was actually relieved to add manual transmission to the search criteria because it narrowed the field of viable candidates in a 75 mile radius from several thousand, to about 10. Made shopping sooooo much easier...and stupid carjackers can't jack it.

I wonder if F1 drivers have manuals in their personal cars? They haven't used them in their work cars in about 20 years.

I heard this story the other day. What a F&*#king idiot. I know this had a gun but I think after seeing that he couldn't drive the car i'd have found a way to get to him.
His own mother would not have recognized him when finished with him... Thats if he has a mother. I HATE PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO RESPECT FOR ANYTHING OR ANYONE!!!! |
