If your turbo is a pre-80. You're going to have a tougher time removing. The SGs have become brittle and will break apart. Heat, adhesive remover and patience will reveal what your finish really looked like new. 3M Scratch Remover will eliminate the yellowing of your paint.

UPDATE:
I ended up buying a set of the stone guards from Magna Grafix. They were a perfect fit and I was able to slap them on the car in a matter of seconds. Looks perfectly OEM and the best part - I can remove them easily when I want. I didn't get a picture but I drove my car to work today. I will snap a picture at lunch. I like that I can remove them quickly if I need to pop the torsion bar access cover off - you won't destroy these taking them off! Kind regards, Chris.

Its supposed to protect paint from stone chips, and its cheap about $20 for a metre roll or so
