I love the stinger style exhaust, but that looks like a single 3 inch exhaust. How do you flow enough to get 800hp out of a 3" exhaust?

Thanks guys!!! Cams are GT-2 EVO cams...

Yes, the exhaust is 3"... but the entire length is only about 8" or so... Its straight off the turbo, (zork tube) and that what size the v-band is off the turbine housing... Trust me, its plenty free flowing.....

Paul, yea.. this has been such a long time coming!!!!!

LOL!!!!!!! Yea, I think I have something backfeeding into the ECU. Just have to unplug one thing at a time, until the problem goes away.

Yea, its idling high. Cant wait to hear what it is going to sound like at 800 to 1000 RPM's !!

I have the engine temp sender unhooked, as I broke the wiring harness end to the sensor (ther other end is molded directly to the sensor, so I can not splice wires). It will be here the beginning of next week. Because of that, I had to take out a bunch of fuel from the crank enrichment and warm up enrichment maps... I will be breaking in the cams this weekend, so will need to pull out more fuel....

Kinda funny... The first day I bought the car (18 years ago), I fell asleep in the drivers seat later on that first night. Today, I bet you I have watched that video more than 100 times already!! Best therapy there is!! Just cant get enough.

I had the same issue on my MegaSquirt. I rewired the coils to be powered by the original wiring and all was well.

Thanks! I dont know if that is the issue or not... but definately something to look at. I am also running a M&W Pro CDI as well, so that might complicate things... dont know just yet.

I love the crispness of the exhaust note... just sounds wicked!!! I will be sleeping good tonight!!!!! LOL

Congrats!! That's an amazing build, I remember following some of your threads on Rennlist back in the day before the Pelican 930 board.
Amazing build.

I assure you, killing power to the coils from the original wiring will stall the engine instantly as intended.

There's a slight backfeeding of juice that keeps the coils energized if coils are wired off a junction block that supplies power to ECU and other EFI components.

Congrats...please proceed as quickly as possible to "first drive"

I admire and respect your patience on this project. I think many others would have given up, sold out, whatever. You're on the home stretch now, finish line in sight.
