So, I talked to Brian Leask yesterday...
... And he is back in business. My WUR is going out today.

Alright! I've been waiting patiently. One of the last (for now) motor mods I want to do.

I've got one of his wurs and it works great. If you don't have one already get one!

Yes, whoever has adjustable WUR stand alone or with RPM controlled solenoid valve could you please comment what real life improvement does it make?
I am debating should I get it and $650 is not a small change for me, unfortunately... Also, does it work the same way for older 930s (mine is '78, modified with Tial 46 (1 bar spring),) Kokeln turbo and IC, BB stainless full exhaust, enhanced Fuel Distributor) and 1985+? Far better control of the fuel curve = better AFR = better power = better MPG. Win, win, win.

I've got the WUR with rpm switch and can vouch for its effectiveness.

Looks like my WUR will be back in my hands as possibly soon as end of next week. Now that the word is out, I'm thinking these short lead times are going to get a wee bit longer.

True story about Brian Leask's service - about seven years ago or so, I sent Brian a WUR and it was back in my hands in about a week, and I had not even paid for the service yet (no CC or Paypal info, no deposit, nothing). Needless to say, I was really pleasantly shocked.

Howdy,
Mark gets back in the saddle and Brian is back making WURs. There hope for us all! I want to send my WUR off to Brian and though when I click on his contact link my computer wants to open outlook which I don't have. Anybody (including Brian if he's here) have a way to contact him so I can send this off? Gary |

Thanks Rich,
Maybe I didn't articulate clearly enough. When I click on that link (info@930wur.com) my computer routes me to an "Outlook" set up wizard. I try installing that link into the address bar and no successful search. I google it and just get back to Brian's initial website. I guess I'll have to laptop it down at the local coffee shop and see what happens. I don't know why he doesn't just put his contact info in the initial website. ![]() Any further ideas? |
