Air Cooled 911 Engine Components That Im Making In New Zealand

Hello, over the last year ive been busy developing some new parts for 3.2, 964 and 993 engines. I thought you might be intetested in my progress to date. Before everyone starts asking, the aluminium for the cylinder heads is a propritary blend we have made in Germany.
The heads flow 288 cfm @ .500" @25 inches
On the intake from a 41 8mm port. Exhaust flow 201 cfm @ ,500" velocity on the intake is 320-350 ft per second. Exhaust uniform 315 ft per second.
Intake valve 53mm
Exhaust 42.5 mm
Top quality components to be used throughout, CHE guides and seats, tool steel retainers, SI valves, psi beehive springs.
The coil on plug valve covers are available for the following engines, early up to 3.2, 964, 993. The covers come with hardware and accept either 964 gaskets or on the 993 covers, the OE 993 gasket. Coils are Bosch and are from the Audi R8. Please note, these do not fit cars with powersteering. The powersteering pump must be deleted from the engine, and an electric pump installed.

It would be shameful and a travesty to hide those beauties under an engine shroud.
Mr. Abate: Are you now dabbling in 6 cyl. land?

Still playing w/4cyl polopolus 911 based engines which use 964/993 based components
Always interested in new ideas in cyl heads for these engines

Thanks for the positive feedback. Once I have our custom rods that we are having made currently for our 4.0L engines, we will have a 4.0L engine on our inhouse superflow 902 engine dyno for testing and will provide results. If you have questions about my products, Please message or email me at drgouk65@hotmail.com

Thanks

David,
Interesting! Thanks for posting.

Did you consider making the combustion chamber more modern to increase speed of combustion or have you gained improvements through increased swirl from the intake port? I'm interested in how you arrived at the final head design.

TIA

Thanks Peter, these were design as a bolt on replacement 993/964 heads with significant improvements to the ports in flow and velocity. Obviously in the near future i will be doing more bespoke heads with custom combustion chambers etc, but as these parts aren'nt cheap to devlop, the best approch to get a good platform to build on is to start with a fairly generic design, that still accepts alot of of the shelf parts that are currently available. It also means the heads can be directly compared to other heads following the same basic design. Dyno results to follow from the superflow 902s in house dyno. Just waiting on my custom 300m rods to be manufactured for my 4.0l devlopment engine and then well be on the dyno!

Beautiful heads.
Would you consider modifying your program to make my peanut head/chambers.
