Let's see.... as a check book mechanic here is a back of the envelope analysis.....
Motor: 2.7 CIS: $5000 - $7500
Installation: $1,500 (including removal of SBC)
Paint: $10,000
Purchase: $10,000
Total: $29,000.
No, $10,000 would be a reasonable purchase price especially considering the ability to sell the SBC at some point.
