I purchased two of those switches. one from our host, one from ebay. neither works. they fit, but to get it to line up, the switch needs to be turned one click, while the key is in the off position, so when i try to turn the key, it only turns one postiion as the switch is turned all the way and wont go further. perhpas I am doing something wrong, but I took it to a mechanic friend and he agrees, that part will not work.

the 914 keyed part and this new switch are not compatible in my opinion. I wish it worked!
