I say it is a 1972 because the 4th digit in the VIN is a 2 which makes it a 1972 car. The fact that it does not have the oil fill door on the left fender and the entire car looks like a post 1973 model is because it was converted sometime in the 1980s or 90s to this more modern look that today does not make much sense.
My 1970 911T coupe is one such example. The most expensive part of converting these cars back to original is the interior - the seats + dash + door panels/pockets/Arm rests.
$29.975 I think it is too much for this car.
