If you suspect the clutch, or, transmission for that mater, it's easy to check just by hand cranking the transmission if you still have the standard issue Porsche handle or, just use a large flat end screwdriver. BTW, in my case the trani kept slipping internally-when I turned the input shaft by hand, the output cog would not work as soon as I put hand pressure against it. Easy to take out and check. Bought a used replacement one a few weeks ago from a fellow Pelican.
