I don't live in Springfield nor do I have any ties to this city. It is a part of my sales territory so I have a little 'feel' for the city. My impression is that the better neighborhoods are in the east side off Hwy 65. Lots of newer brick-house suburb type neighborhoods; if that is what he's interested in. Nothing special about the city but there are plenty of excellent lakes and the Ozark mountain are just south of the city. Good place for outdoors men and lake people. Very low cost of living. If it were me, I'd move southeast of the city and get some land in the ozarks.
