My wife was raised in Marshfield (Route 66), 1/2 hr east on I-44. Been there a lot. Suburbs close to the NE would be Fair Grove and Strafford. Both small towns and close by. Real Estate is dirt cheap there......A great drive is Hwy 125 south from Strafford, At the Ark state line, take the free ferry ride to Peel and back home thru Branson/Table Rock Lake.
