Hmm, I was always told not to remove the bottom tin as hot air rises from the exhaust causing the motor to run hotter. Last April I was running at AAA speedway and the president of POC was running his 3.6 that way no floor tin, he had 2 coolers up front and he was thinking another oil tank up front to increase oil capacity he couldn't keep it cool enough. I run my 3.6 with all the tin modded as needed and only 1 - 72 row front cooler in the bumper without overheating problems on the track
