Replacing old style transmission mount?

How to replace 901 transmission mounts?

Hi I have a 1969 912 with a 1970 911/01 transmission. My trans is being rebuilt and I would like to replace the transmission mounts with new. According to the pelican article:
Porsche 911 Motor and Transmission Mount Replacement | 911 (1965-89) - 930 Turbo (1975-89) | Pelican Parts DIY Maintenance Article

“The transmission mounts are very similar to the motor mounts, except for the early cars. Unfortunately, the early cars have a once piece mount and support bar design that is no longer available. “ “The later style 911s (1972-on) were equipped with a transmission mount bar that incorporated replaceable mounts."

Whats the fix? How can I get new mounts in a 69 with the one piece bracket? Can I press new rubber mounts in the old bar? A >=1972 mounting bracket with removable mounts was for a 915 trans right? Can that work or will it need special shimming?

I know this must have a simple answer? Thanks ahead of time.
