I really like the looks of those cars...icons of the road! But the driver doesn't get to appreciate that view of the car.
My brief experience (friend's car) was that of a hood which never ended, rattles and steering that was full of wonder (I wondered a lot about where the car was going to go). He had built the 400 SBC and automatic so it had power for those days. It was sort of neat but even Bill (a Chevy parts counter manager) let it go after a short time to build another project (400 powered LUV) that he found more enjoyable to drive.
If you've not driven one, that may be all it takes to fall in or out of love with it.
