the dansk 2 in single out muffler lines up nicely with the stock rear valance muffler relief cut out with the SSI's in my experience with an early SC. i don't recall the weld on out as an option when i used them back in the day

couple other things if your doing the work yourself

like when installing any new exhaust components I would leave everything somewhat loose until you've got both the SSI's & muffler all bolted up, then return and tighten the heat exchangers, then muffler, then muffler straps.

the new exhaust port gaskets can be squeezed some to bend aiding in keeping them on the studs while you lift to mate the SSI's up.

reassemble with anti-seize and the brass hardware pelican offers.

I learned this as it did the swap back to stock exhaust, oil lines, and all for our california smog testing every two years. I got to where I could go each way in 3 hours, including the air pump and egr valve after id done it a time or two.
