I've done pre-PPIs on a couple of these. they can be a bargain. First, the RMS "issue" is not a big deal. There were several versions until Porsche got it right. Likely most cars now on the market have been updated.
The IMSb issue is overblown by people selling the replacement parts & labor. However, because it's been made a huge deal, you now almost have to do it if you are thinking of selling in the future. There is no way to tell if it's been done without receipts or dropping the engine to check.
