All In Autos in Norco, California
Greetings,
I am looking for a RWD 996 Coupe. It does not have to be trophy wife grade, as I am to use it for track days primarily. This place seems to have several of them. Does anyone have experience with them, sales or otherwise? If I found one I like I would need a PPI. Since I am in the Midwest a referral for that service would be very helpful. http://www.allinautos.com/inventory Thanks, Jason P.S. Besides the IMS and RMS issues are there any other things I need to zero in on before making a 996 my tool of choice for HPDE stuff? |

I don't know any porsche shops in Norco, but I have a friend, Randy Inglis, who does some restorations, google randy inglis restorations, he is in the same (small) town and at least can point you towards a local porsche guy, or perhaps he can help

The IMSb issue is overblown by people selling the replacement parts & labor. However, because it's been made a huge deal, you now almost have to do it if you are thinking of selling in the future. There is no way to tell if it's been done without receipts or dropping the engine to check. Louie Largo here on Pelican is close by and could go kick the tires - I sent him an email and he'll contact you if he can help.
