Have you checked that the speed/ref connectors aren't reversed?
When you pulled plug and checked for spark, was there spark? What colour was spark.
Measure supply voltage at coil
Measure supply voltage at injectors
Measure impedance of speed/ref sensors
Measure peak-to-peak voltages of output waveforms from speed/ref sensors ('scope needed).
