Tremelune,

The new motor is sitting under my storage shelves waiting for installation. I hope to get to that later this month. Currently I'm waiting on a few more parts to arrive and finishing up some other projects. When I get to the installation, I'll update my build thread with more details. For now there is some preliminary information posted here - http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/871698-budget-singer-911-a-5.html

To keep things appropriate to this thread, here are some pics of how I unloaded the motor from the back of a pickup using the steel beam of my carport as my pick point for a comealong.

Loaded up for a trip from my work to my house.

I was so busy getting the motor safely unloaded, I forgot to get a shot with the motor hanging in the air.

I used a lifting strap around the steel beam, linked with a shackle as the attachment point for the comealong.

Here is the motor safely put to bet under my storage shelves and awaiting installation.
