Seeing how "I still call Australia home", the exchange rate meant that it was close to 35% off & most of the feedback on the Monty was positive, the decision was easy.
Like the pipe, there was much cussing, adjustments, nervous moments & altercations with the unwilling to get the old off & new on.
(Sorry for the similar shot but its just so pretty. Is it "normal "round here to crawl under your car just to look & make sure that your muffler is still there?)
So now with the pipe & new muffler..
Jeepers, we now have some improvement here. Not much horse power but the improvement over what I had was noticeable. Things seemed more direct, the car just felt like it wanted to "run" more. I should also note at this time, we are already running the 964 cam, another long story for another day but it did make it both lump & search a little more at idle. (Those in the know, know). I guess I saved some weight.
There is no "drone" that I have read so much about, there was maybe a 15% growth on the loudness factor-which for those of us that are still married is important. There's enough drone from the co pilot already.
All in all, again money well spent
