So I found these in a garage in Stockton, California. I can clearly remember these back in the day as a pretty high quality set. My buddy in Modesto got some for his 63 356 back in 1982 I believe. Anyway, I bought them for $25.00 and was thinking about using them for an old 1970 type III VW 1600 DP. Well I broke that engine down yesterday and was just looking at things and realized the new NPS cylinders are not as tall as the old VW's. Well that's certainly not going to work. SO...... I'm toying with the idea of selling these and getting the cash to help with my VW rebuild OR possible a trade as my 63 Ghia and it's motor (A 1972 DP 1600) is getting old. Here are some pics..... I would love to hear your comments as I do know there were many that were knock offs. I believe these are the real deal and quite sot after.
