Seeking Engine Pricing Advice
I am looking for a little advice on price for my motor that I am considering selling to make way for 3.6 conversion. It is the original 3.0l from my ’79SC (RoW). The engine is essentially stock, runs strong and does not leak or smoke. Never raced or tracked. I’ve done a few searches for a similar engine but found the prices all over the place…anywhere from $7.5-15K. I certainly would appreciate any input from the collective brain trust on what would be a reasonable asking price. Here are some details on the engine:

Approx 100K miles
Complete top rebuild at 85K miles by reputable local engine builder
930 lower valve covers
Hydraulic chain tensioners
Pop-off valve
Recently installed new injectors & seals, belts, had valves adjusted
Leak down test results:
1– 98%
2- 99%
3- 98%
4- 100%
5-100%
6-100%
