Check around here there are posts on changing out grips on the heated ones. Not a big deal really, just don't cut the heating element. Changed out a couple sets on mine with no problems. Throw away whatever that plastic piece is, never had it on mine. BBY sells replacement grips for our bikes that mimic the oe ones.
