No doubt.

It was an interesting conversation at the car show on Saturday. Virtually every service company for mechanical work or paint work was mentioned. The different guys all had experiences with some or all of them. The place that has your car was mentioned as a good place for routine service but very slow on big projects. The place in Edmond that specializes in older air cooled vehicles was nominated and all agreed as the worst business man for running a business. He had excellent final product but poor business management. One paint shop where I had my El Camino paint work has had a 928 for over two years and still is not really doing anything to it. The guy that fixed the deer hit damage on my 911 was thought of highly. None had all bad things said, all had hits and misses.

One guy there sent his 914 out to a shop is California for a total refurbish. He was quoted 200K. He told them to ship it back and he would find another source, and it was a decent running 914.
