You will always be slow in a 928. That's not what they are about. You can't play the hp game. A Ford Focus has 300hp now a days. The amount of money you need to compete is crazy. I have a 300hp Euro motor in my 928 and my Neon will smoke it. Save the money for power adders and just buy something faster if speed is your thing. But if you must go that route the only way I would force induce a 928 is to junk the old engine management and run a fully programmable unit like an Emtron. At least you will know you are getting everything out of your motor. Messing with antiquated technology isn't worth it when you doing something like this. Most 928 motors starting compression is too high to run any type of real boost. You'll need a good engine management just to keep it together.
