A BMW 2002 thread...cool.
I have a 2002 Touring. Bought it in 1991 in the UK. It's RHD and has typical UK car rust.
Interior is pretty good due to the regular absence of sun.
The special feature on this car is tinted glass, not a UK option, but this car RHD car was collected from the BMW actory by a UK millitary serviceman stationed in Germany.
I recently bought a one-of-a-kind tube and oak slat roof rack at a swap meet.
You can see it needs some bodywork, but it's reasonable.
The box in the back has a spare 1600cc block, hence the low rear ride height - not rusted spring perches!
The paperwork is all done, I can register and drive this car in CA ........if only I had some time!
