Ove,
Yes, I am lucky, but stupid too. The Indy Orange classic race car had a 235-5 too,.... my first.
Now I am looking for parts for the second.
I have a 232-2(?) with the Porsche style synchro's that I am going to strip to see how much of the shortfall that makes up.
After that it will be keep looking, or start making.....
The two output shafts I have are both worn from where they run in the needle roller in the back end of the input shaft. I think they can be metal sprayed, or hard chrome and re sized. I have all the special 5 speed parts for gear selection, but a fair degree of wear.
The one I have is the road car version, not the even more rare "race" or "rally" ratios.
My 2002's have all had the 3.XX final drive, about 37km/hr per 1000 rpm on 185/70/13, not too bad.
I also had a 1602Lux, it had the 4.11 final drive, we stuffed the Ti spec 2 liter from the crashed gold Tourer into it. First time we went for a top speed run it blew a load of old broken windshield out of the dashboard vents - I guess it had never been 115 mph with the 1.6 liter motor!!
If I can make a cohesive list of 235-5 parts I need I will PM you some time.
Regards
Hayden
