I agree with the frustration of Bosch not including a pair of 50 cent copper sealing washers with a new fuel pump, but should you spend a fraction of the price of a new fuel pump and purchase only the check valve component of the fuel pump, you'll get the 2 thin washers and the 1 thick one in the package.
